I'd thought these were shitty fake knockoffs and it would be better to just let him buy the real game but after reading reviews it seems they're decent games in their own right. My 7 year old nephew loves talking about it and plays a lot on an iPad, but I found that he only plays the free derivative games he downloaded himself because they looked similar. I've played Minecraft before but not a lot because I didn't have the money to buy it.
